Christian Dior

Christian Dior himself with references to "The New Look", the tulip shapes, the balloon skirts, the impecable shoulders and sleeves, tha A line full skirts and many other silhouettes created by Mr. Dior in the 1940s/1950s.

The colors, the shades, the effects and textures were inspired by René Gruau biography - the illustrator that did amazing drawings for the Maison Dior in the same decades. With lighstrokes, watercolor effect and the play with light and dark.

A gorgeous hommage to an era where Couture was really Haute.
